Artist's Statement: A classic Pearl McGown design of lovely - though challenging - intricacy, this traditional fruit rug pattern is done with dip-dyed, casserole and spot-dyed wools. One measure of a well-designed pattern is how the colors triangulate throughout the rug, allowing the eye to keep moving around the piece.
